This class is a 3-part series.  Dates are March 23, March 30, and April 13 from 12:00-4:00pm

Transform fabric into beautiful, handcrafted quilts in this foundational course designed for complete beginners. You'll create a charming small quilted project while learning essential skills that will launch your quilting journey.

Perfect for: Complete beginners who want to explore quilting in a supportive, step-by-step environment. No prior quilting experience needed.  However, basic sewing knowledge like threading machine, winding a bobbin, and sewing a straight stitch are required.

What to expect: Hands-on instruction, personalized guidance, and the satisfaction of starting your first quilting project with confidence.

Bring your own machine.  If you do not have a machine, you may rent one for $25 per class.

 Receive a 10% discount on supplies bought during class.

Class is taught by Melinda Brown.

Supplies needed:

12 fat quarters of different fabrics. If you need help choosing fabric, please come to the shop before the first quilt class

You may bring snacks and water.  We have sodas, bottled water and chips available for .50 cents.  Small refrigerator available for use.

Cancellation Policy

Thank you for signing up for a class at Sewcial Creatives.  To be respectful of our teachers the following cancellation policy will be strictly adhered to. 

In the event that you are unable to attend the class, you must cancel 7 days prior to class to receive a FULL refund or store credit.

If you cancel between 6 and 4 days prior to class date, there is a 50% forfeiture fee and you will receive store credit only for the difference.  

If you cancel 3 days or less prior to class, your fee is 100% forfeited.
