One day class

This class is for confident beginners.  We will be making the One Block Wonder quilt.  Approximate size is 56"x60."

Supply List:

  • Sewing machine with foot pedal, power cord, and manual
  • One Block Wonder Book
  • Flowerhead pins
  • At least 50 sandwich bags
  • Rotary cutter 45 or 60 with a new, sharp blade
  • 60 degree triangle ruler
  • Straight pins
  • Thread for machine
  • 24" x 36" cutting mat
  • Fabric requirements:  6 pattern repeats + 6". A 23" pattern repeat will make a 56" x 60" quilt top. If your pattern repeat is 12", you will need 12 pattern repeats + 6".  Purchase your fabric accordingly.
  • If you would like to make your quilt larger, bring extra fabric.  You may also want extra fabric for the border.

You may bring a lunch and or snacks.  We have sodas, bottled water and chips available for .50 cents.  Small refrigerator available for use.


Cancellation Policy


Thank you for signing up for a class at Sewcial Creatives.  To be respectful of our teachers the following cancellation policy will be strictly adhered to. 


In the event that you are unable to attend the class, you must cancel 7 days prior to class to receive a FULL refund or store credit.

If you cancel between 6 and 4 days prior to class date, there is a 50% forfeiture fee and you will receive store credit only for the difference.  

If you cancel 3 days or less prior to class, your fee is 100% forfeited.
