Master the fundamentals of free motion quilting on our professional longarm machines in this comprehensive certification class. Upon completion, you'll be qualified to rent our equipment for your personal projects.

This hands-on workshop covers everything you need to know, including:

 - Complete machine setup and operation (following the new owner checklist)

 - Proper quilt loading techniques

 - Bobbin winding and troubleshooting

 - Machine threading and maintenance procedures

 - Essential oiling and care routines

You'll also receive expert guidance on selecting the right:

 - Needles for different projects

 - Thread types and weights

 - Batting options for various quilt styles

No supplies required—just bring a notebook and pen to capture valuable tips and techniques.

Perfect for beginners and current longarm owners seeking a refresher on best practices.

Class is taught by Erin Mankowski

Longarm rental rates are $20/hour with a 2 hour minimum.  Advanced booking required.

You may bring a lunch and or snacks.  We have sodas, bottled water and chips available for .50 cents.  Small refrigerator available for use.

Cancellation Policy

Thank you for signing up for a class at Sewcial Creatives.  To be respectful of our teachers the following cancellation policy will be strictly adhered to. 

In the event that you are unable to attend the class, you must cancel 7 days prior to class to receive a FULL refund or store credit.

If you cancel between 6 and 4 days prior to class date, there is a 50% forfeiture fee and you will receive store credit only for the difference.  

If you cancel 3 days or less prior to class, your fee is 100% forfeited.
