Leather Wallet Class

Fun class where you make a leather wallet while learning about working with leather.  You will not even need to bring your own machine as this class features 2 industrial sewing machines and 2 heavy duty sewing machines.  If you want to take your bag making to the next level, this is the ideal class to try something new.

You must purchase the kit to attend this class.  Your kit includes: pre-cut lambskin leather, self adhesive wallet liner, accordion insert, stabilizer and fashion snap.

No prior leather making experience required but must be experienced sewist.  Attendance in Intro. to Bag Making preferred, you can register here.

Maker stations will be set up including:

• Cutting station

• Heat press station

• Hardware installation

• Covered gluing table

• Drying station

Leather tools provided by store:

• Awl

• Bone folder

• Metal press-edge roller

• Silver marking pen

Additional recommended supplies:

• Double sided leather basting tape no wide than 1/8”

• Centering ruler (must have 3/8” marking)

• Small to medium sharp precision scissors

• Thread burner

Heavy Duty/Industrial sewing machines, leather needles and bonded nylon thread provided by store.

Maker profile form provided upon registration.  Please complete your maker profile and return it to shop@sewcialcreatives.com right away.  In the maker profile form, include your email to receive your pattern download code which will be issued in class.

You may bring a lunch and or snacks.  We have sodas, bottled water and chips available for .50 cents.  Small refrigerator available for use.

Cancellation Policy

Thank you for signing up for a class at Sewcial Creatives.  To be respectful of our teachers the following cancellation policy will be strictly adhered to. 

In the event that you are unable to attend the class, you must cancel 7 days prior to class to receive a FULL refund or store credit.

If you cancel between 6 and 4 days prior to class date, there is a 50% forfeiture fee and you will receive store credit only for the difference.  

If you cancel 3 days or less prior to class, your fee is 100% forfeited.
