Kids Sewing Camp

Three Day Camp

This class is designed for kids ages 11-15.  In this workshop, we will make several different sewing projects so that the participant is comfortable with working with a sewing machine, sewing multiple layers of fabric together, experimenting with purse hardware, and choosing fabric. We will also learn how to sewing on a button by hand!

Day 1:  Pillowcase

Day 2:  Lanyard or Key Fob

Day 3:  Tote Bag

Bring your own machine and manual.  If you need to rent a machine let us know.  There is a $25 fee for machine rental. If you purchase a machine from us, the rental fee applies towards the purchase.

Class is taught by Melinda Brown. and Pam Lee.

We will have kits available for the pillowcase and lanyard/key fob at the shop for purchase.  The tote bag requires one yard of fabric.

Receive a 10% discount on other supplies purchased during class.

Scrap fabric 

You may bring snacks.  We have sodas, bottled water and chips available for .50 cents.  Small refrigerator available for use.

Cancellation Policy

Thank you for signing up for a class at Sewcial Creatives.  To be respectful of our teachers the following cancellation policy will be strictly adhered to. 

In the event that you are unable to attend the class, you must cancel 7 days prior to class to receive a FULL refund or store credit.

If you cancel between 6 and 4 days prior to class date, there is a 50% forfeiture fee and you will receive store credit only for the difference.  

If you cancel 3 days or less prior to class, your fee is 100% forfeited.
