Jordan Craft Case Workshop: Designer Vinyl Zipper Pouch

Design by Simple Artful Stuff. This workshop challenges experienced sewists to create a sophisticated, large vinyl zipper pouch with professional finishing details.

Skills Required:

- Advanced sewing skills with precision seam work

- Basic understanding of bag construction techniques

- Comfortable working with specialized materials (vinyl, cotton, nylon)

Kit Includes:

- Exterior vinyl

- Cotton lining

- Nylon zipper and pull

- Precut decorative emblem

Workshop Preparation:

- Recommended prerequisite: Intro to Bag Making session

- Zipper installation experience preferred but not mandatory

Required Supplies:

• Double sided leather basting tape no wide than 1/8”

• Centering ruler (must have 3/8” marking)

• Small to medium sharp precision scissors

• Thread burner

• Non-bleed thin pen/marker

• #16 Topstitch needle

• Tex 50 poly thread

• Stiletto or awl

• Fabri-tac glue

Other Recommended Supplies:

• Metal turning tool

• Utility scissors for cutting zipper tape

• Thread burner

Bring your own machine with narrow or zipper foot.

Class is taught by Anne Benvenuto

You may bring a lunch and or snacks.  We have sodas, bottled water and chips available for .50 cents.  Small refrigerator available for use.

Cancellation Policy

Thank you for signing up for a class at Sewcial Creatives.  To be respectful of our teachers the following cancellation policy will be strictly adhered to. 

In the event that you are unable to attend the class, you must cancel 7 days prior to class to receive a FULL refund or store credit.

If you cancel between 6 and 4 days prior to class date, there is a 50% forfeiture fee and you will receive store credit only for the difference.  

If you cancel 3 days or less prior to class, your fee is 100% forfeited.
