Introduction to English Paper Piecing

Beginner English Paper Piecing

Join us on a laid back Sunday for some beginner hand stitching.  Learn the basic techniques for starting English Paper Piecing.  Find out which tools are recommended and how to use them.  We will be completing a 7 piece sample using 1" hexagons during class.  

Price includes the basic supplies to get started in class including; hexagon papers, needle, thimble pads, thread and glue sticks.  You will receive 10% off any additional supplies purchased during class.

Additional recommendations:

Paper Pieces Brand 1” Hexagon acrylic template with 3/8’ seam allowance

Thread conditioner like Thread Magic or Beeswax 

Snips /Scissors

Sewtites or Wonder clips

Marking pen -  can be permanent, it won’t show

Small cutting mat

Needle threader helpful but not required; depending on your eyesight

Sewing gauge or EPP stitch per inch template. Helpful for beginners not required 

Small project bag or ziplock baggies to keep your project things together

Class instructor - Dianne Speller

You may bring a lunch and or snacks.  We have sodas, bottled water and chips available for .50 cents.  Small refrigerator available for use.
