Hometown Quilt - Embroidery Block of the Month #1 Make-up Session
Hometown Quilt Workshop - Monthly Embroidery
This is a make-up session if you miss the class on January 12th
Join us for an enchanting quilting experience that brings a charming hometown to life, one house at a time. This monthly class guides you through creating a beautiful quilt featuring Lori Holt's delightful Riley Blake fabric collection - Hometown. Each session focuses on crafting a unique house block with its own distinctive theme and character.
Throughout the course, you'll learn intricate techniques blending embroidery and appliqué, transforming fabric into a storytelling masterpiece. Our experienced instructors will provide step-by-step guidance, ensuring you feel confident and inspired with each block you create. The houses will be connected by four rows of carefully embroidered sashing, adding depth and visual interest to your quilt.
After completing the class sessions, you'll finish your quilt by adding personal touches through borders, backing, and binding. By the end of the workshop, you'll have not just a quilt, but a handcrafted narrative of a whimsical hometown, stitched with your own creativity and skill.
