Proper binding demonstration

Learn the proper way to bind a quilt.  We will use a 12 x 12 sandwich to learn proper binding techniques.  Learn what size strips to cut and how to join them together.  Then, attach binding, create perfect corners, close the gap seamlessly and finish by hand.

Bring your own machine and manual.  If you need to rent a machine let us know.  There is a $25 fee for machine rental. If you purchase a machine from us, the rental applies towards the purchase.

Class is taught by Erin

Supplies available at the shop.  Receive a 10% discount on supplies purchased during class. 

Basic recommended supplies:

Pins/Clips

Ruler

Hand sewing needle

Scissors or snips

Thread

Seam ripper

12"x 12" fabric swatches--2 pieces-- plus batting of the same size

Cancellation Policy

Thank you for signing up for a class at Sewcial Creatives.  To be respectful of our teachers the following cancellation policy will be strictly adhered to. 

In the event that you are unable to attend the class, you must cancel 7 days prior to class to receive a FULL refund or store credit.

If you cancel between 6 and 4 days prior to class date, there is a 50% forfeiture fee and you will receive store credit only for the difference.  

If you cancel 3 days or less prior to class, your fee is 100% forfeited.
